Brockway and Phillips

Brockway and Phillips of Grimsby, Lincolnshire patented and sold a gas fired ventilating fan from around 1910.
Brockway and Phillips also designed in 1911 a small hot air engine (model B) which was intended to drive Zoetropes and Kinetscopes. These were machines in which a series of still photographs were shown in quick succession to give the illusion of a moving picture show.
